Atlanta Georgia Marriott Hotel

Marriott International has named the Atlanta Marriott Marquis America's Hotel of the Year 2017, the first time the hotel has received the honor of being named the Eastern Region's Internal Hotel of the Year. Connected to the Peachtree Center and MARTA, this iconic downtown Atlanta, Georgia hotel offers guests access to major attractions including Georgia Tech, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Ponce City Market and the Georgia Museum of Natural History. Piedmont Park is two blocks away and you can walk or enjoy the views from the hotel's rooftop terrace and the rooftop bar and restaurant. At the same time, it is close enough to Georgia State University and Atlanta International Airport, while GeorgiaTech and Georgia Botanic Gardens are nearby.

Request an Uber or Lyft car at Buckhead or Lenox MARTA stations or walk to the hotel if your luggage is light.

Located in a beautiful neighborhood, it has great rooms and is again a category 5 Marriott, which costs an average of $35,000 for a night at the Marriott Bonvoy. Hyatts are also a good choice for spending point redemption (we have rated some of the best Hyatt hotels in Atlanta separately). If you choose to stay, you should take advantage of almost every luxury hotel in the world, including Park Hyatt, Fairmont, InterContinental and more, wherever you are. Note: We work with Marriott and can help you find a transit-friendly hotel.

AC Hotel Buckhead is a 15-minute walk from MARTA, next to a shopping centre, has free Wi-Fi, but has no shuttles and is not close to the city's main transport links such as the BeltLine or MARA. Also affordable, Residence Inn is a great choice for an overnight stay at Marriott Bonvoy, a Category 5 Marriott in Atlanta. Located in a nearby area, including Georgia Public Broadcasting, this hotel is just blocks from the Georgia State University and University of Georgia campuses.

AC Hotel is a good choice for an overnight stay at Marriott Buckhead, a Category 5 Marriott in Atlanta. You can enjoy the convenience of the hotel, such as free Wi-Fi, free parking and free breakfast and lunch.

St. Regis Atlanta, which is also a good choice, offers free Wi-Fi, free parking, and free breakfast and lunch. Both hotels are within walking distance of the MARTA stations, as shown below if you plan to visit.

The Westin Buckhead Atlanta is a category 5 Marriott that costs an average of $35,000 per night for a redemptive stay, making it one of the most expensive Marriott hotels in the Atlanta area. Nevertheless, it is a great hotel with free Wi-Fi, free parking and free breakfast and lunch. It also makes up for the fact that it's not as good as the W, JW or Marriott. The Sheraton Buckheads is also within walking distance of the MARTA stations and several other downtown Atlanta hotels, so it is not included in this list.

The Ritz-Carlton is a Category 6 Marriott that charges an average of $50,000 per night at the Marriott Bonvoy for a booked stay with redeeming points. Across from the JW Marriott is the Marriott Westin Buckhead Atlanta, which with free Wi-Fi, free parking and free breakfast and lunch is the Category 7 Marriott, which costs an average of $60,500 per night for stays with redeemed points, making it one of the most expensive Marriott hotels in the Atlanta area. The JW is located in the same area as the Marriott Buckhead Hotel and Convention Center, which is listed as a Category 7 Marriott hotel with free Wi-Fi, free parking and free breakfast and lunch, which are located almost in the same location. Rooms at the Whitley are just a few blocks from the Ritz-Carlton and the Westin Atlanta, so Marriott has probably changed the hotel brand from Ritzer Carlton to Marriott.

Fairfield Inn & Suites is located across from Five Points MARTA Station (Peachtree Street exit). If you're planning a trip to the city and are a member of the Marriott Rewards program, Atlanta is a great place if you prefer a hotel that is accessible to transit travelers. Marriott hotels, like many others, are located near train stations, and the hotel is just a few blocks from all the MARMA stops in the Atlanta metro area. The Whiteley Hotel was a frequent stop on the Atlanta Rapid Transit subway system, as well as a regular stop at the Georgia World Congress Center and Atlanta Convention Center.

Other Marriott hotels in Atlanta include the Marriott Buckhead Hotel in the Convention Center, located just blocks from the Georgia World Congress Center and Atlanta Convention Center. The hotel is just a short walk from Atlanta International Airport, and the Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway is the other Marriott option near the airport. There is another Marriott hotel in the area, the Renaissance Atlanta - Airport Gateway, which also has clubs and lounges.
