Academically wise the teachers excel in teaching. When I was in the program i felt the administrative staff thought we were better than other dekalb county students. First of all, I'm excited to know that this type of school even exist in Dekalb County. Secondly, the administrators, Dean Brenda Emerson and Assistant Dean Anthony Rutledge are the dynamic duos that truly lead this fantastic establishment. A educational haven that nourishes a thirsty, willing to learn and motivated soul. This is a new and growing facility that's working out the kinks on a daily basis. Any child that is focused and motivated, with a desire to learn, can definitely achieve in this environment. It is a great opportunity for children to get a great education and prepare for college, while earning college credits. Mt 2 grand daughters attend this school and I am proud to say that it is teaching them far more than the public schools are teaching. I feel both my grand daughters will be ahead of the game once they have completed the years at this school.
