Mundy's Mill High School Reviews

Love the communication they have with parents regarding grades, events and college courses recommendations

I'm a freshman at MMHS well now a 10th grader and in my year at MMHS I have learned some good things that I know I will use later on in life and some things I probably wont. Yes, I do think we deserve a little bit more freedom since we are becoming adults but, yet and still we have to earn it. MMHS has helped me become alot more responsible for my future and what I want in life as well as gave me an extra push. Like any other student at any school I've had me share of disagreements and have learned that that is life full of ups and downs. I love MMHS and I have to say that I think I haved learned many life morals and values and am getting the education that I need for a successful life style.

I'm gratified to see that our parents and students appreciate our school's efforts and understand the obstacles which we all must overcome together as a community. Go Tigers!

I am very please with the way Mundy's Mills HS are keeping us updated with the Seniors information with the phone calls in reference to the the finance aid sessions, along with Graduation and Senior activites. The principal and administrator staff is doing an outstanding job!!!!

Mundy's Mill is a great school. The administators are constantly updating us on colloges and scholorships. They recognize our students acheivements. They also enforce rules unlike other clayton county schools. The teachers I've had have shown me they care about me as well as my grade from the beginning. they have tutorial sessions during the week as well as on weekends. I would definately recommend Mundy's Mill High School. P.S- Go Juniors -2010- Whoo!!

I Mean im a 11th grader (2010 ON DECK) but MMHS is alright i mean i think we dont get enough freedom the adminstraitors are crazy all the time, thinking were going to to shoot the place up, and i say this because they make all the boys tuck in there shirts LAME but the teachers are REALLY cool u just have 2 apply yourself like any other school in order to get the grade u deserve

I recently graduated from Mundy's Mill High School Class of 2008. I really really enjoyed my years at MMHS. The teachers are really good and the atmosphere of the school is just warming. Mundy's Mill is a great place to send your child. At MMHS, we focus on the student and their education. There are a few kids who try and distract you from getting that education but you have to tune them out and stay focused. The memories I had at MMHS will last a lifetime. From the football games, to the basketball games, to the baseball and soccer games, and even the long speeches from Mr. Davis and Ms. Adams will be rememberd in me. MMHS is a school of excellence and sending your child here would raise their educational standards.

Mundy's Mill is a horrible school. The teachers are very lazy, and it is up to the students to motivate themselves. The counselors are doing poorly at their jobs, the students never recieve homework, and there are many gangs and drugs. If you are considering enrolling your child into this high school, please reconsider. But, it doesn't matter because we have lost accreditation anyways.

I think that clayton should have more discipline ... Meaning that we students have too much freedom.. We have a choice wether to come to school.. And that our parents and teacher seem not to care too much about our education

I love Mundy's Mills High School. Remember discipline starts at home parents. The Principal, faculty and counselors are very involved. It is really up to each student to choose the right destiny. Each student has a choice to make the decision to sink or swim. We can not total rely on the teachers, principal and counselors to provide everything our kids need to make it in life. My son has one more year at Mundy s Mills High and it has truly been a blessing to have him there with good guidance and mentors. Go Mill!

My daughter is a junior this year and I regret that I have to transfer her due to my job relocating. Mundy Mills is an excellent school.

This is my daughter's second year at the Mill. I was very concerned about putting her at any Clayton County School. Mundy's Mill has been ok. I am not impressed with most of the teachers. However, like in any school, she has had a few of really goood teachers. The principal, Mr. Smith is wonderful and Mr. Smith is always trying to make a difference. I am not impressed with any of the counselors. That's why I would suggest that if you do send your child to The Mill, just stay involved and make the teachers and staff accountable. It's not a bad school, but it's not my ideal school. They really need good teachers. A good school is when it does not matter what teacher you have, you know your child will be educated.

Principal dictates policy for the entire school. No discipline.

mundys mill high schoolis sorry. They dont care about you until half of the school starts failing then that when they wanna give somone a second chance. how are the teachers going to teach us something if they be asking other people how do it.The school isnt good so please dont enroll your child in it.

I'm a senior at mundy's mill. after attending 2 other claytn couny public schools i found this to be the best. the sports programs and the fine arts programs are on point. mr. smth goes out of his way to make each individual student feel importana. he knows most by name. the administraion is great.the teachers are really good. it is the #1 school in the district. we have very good graduation test passing rates and the enviroment has improved from that of the past year. this is a zero tolerance school so students really don't cause problems. i believe if you want your child to suceed especially if you are a mnority, this is the school you should put your child in. you will not regret it.

I'm a student at the Mill, and i'm not statisfied with the school. Next year im hoping to transfer or move to a school outside of Clayton County. The school has no motivation and no one seems to really care about you until you begin to fail. Or reputation is horrible and so is the learning environment.

i think our school is a great school for parents who want their children to recieve a quality education from highly qualified educators. the school is a very safe environment and the activities an learning opportunities provided by the school are wonderful and many students take advantage of the chances to get ahead and make something out of their life.
