Woodridge Elementary School Reviews

I have a six year old son that attends woodridge elementary. although i like the fact that the teachers call when the students have disciple problems, I feel that a lot of them just don't know how to handle their students in a professional way. Their answer to every situation is remove the student from the class or send them home. Children go to school to be educated and if your not a very good educator you should not be teacher. I also think that parent involvement is good. A lot of parents work these days and are not able to come to the schools everytime there's a problem with a child. I also believe that there should be more male teachers to assist with the young boys at this school. There are a lot of female teachers and not enough male teachers. Little boys sometimes respond better to male teachers.

I would say I also give it a 3 on a scale of 1-5. I have to children that attend Woodridge and they are doing good academically. My only concern is that i research different schools around the area and all of them have a tutorial program maybe twice a week and they also drop the students off at home, I have been calling to see when will this certain program become available especially for the children that are going to take the crct, but they still have no idea. I also agree that certain activities in the school are unorganized.

On a scale of 1-5, I give it a 3, b/c it does not have a proper playground for the kids. The carnivals are very low budget and unorganized. The teachers a good but sometimes lazy. The old Principal, Mr.Jenkins seems kinda spacey, but the new one seems better but not greatly professional.I like the attentiveness of the teachers and how they will call immediately when the child has discipline problems, but I think they let the kids do not see who's boss.

i am a student at woodridge elementary school and this is my first year here. the school is great it provides a music, golf and all kinds of other things. the teachers in my opinion are absolutely wnderful they inform my parents about my behavior and with no problem. My dad likes the school to Woodridge is an awesome school in my opinion.

Woodridge is a good school. The teachers really care about the students. Students have music, art, and opportunity to go to the Computer Lab at least once a week. Teachers keep parents informed about school activities, but parental involvement is very low.

I love Woodridge!!! I used to go there last year. All the teachers are nice and fun to be taught by. I was the secretary of the school when I went there. I just miss that school a lot. I hope they keep on doing better. Oh to the parents reading this, Mr. Jenkins is very nice and cool.

Woodridge is a good school.I has went there for 5 years. The principal is Mr. Jenkins a nice principal. I will miss that school.
