Mundy's Mill Middle School Reviews

I think the school is great love they are doing a good jod with are kids i have 2 say geting them ready four the world !all i have two say is keep up the good work

Obviously this parent has not been in the school for a while. I have seen teachers go to great lengths for their students. The children are in uniform dress and have not been allowed to wear baggy or tight clothing for over two years. This is a great school with high expectations for students.

I have a daugher who attends Mundy Mills Middle she has good tearchers, she has the ones who loves what they do and care about their students. up there. If it wasn't for the school begin in clayton county I would stay another year. She will not be there next year.

this school is very good. the after school programs are very fun. the students are being pushed and are punished as they should be, due to the behaivor.the staff has the school under control. when things are out of control, the staff is there to help as mmuch as possible.

Horrible school. No discipline, dirty, unorganized and unsafe. Kids run the school with baggy, sagging pants, and short, tight, clothing on the females. Teachers and counselers do no care about the students. Do not send your child to this school!

This was my sons first and last year at Mundy's Mill. My first impression of the school was that it was disorganized and dirty. Well after a year, I still agree. The school is dirty and my son took hand sanitizer and toilet paper to school everyday because there was no soap or toilet paper. He had one really good Math Teacher, Mr. Madden. Mr. Madden challenged his students and tried to keep discipline in the classroom. Other than that, the school had absolutely no control over the students. The students are rude, disrespectful, and dress like they are in hip-hop videos. A lot of the teachers are too young and inexperienced to deal with teenagers. I would not recommend this school to any parent or student who wants to achieve a good education or to feel as if they are in a safe environment.

I have attended Mundy's Mill for three years and I have never had any problems with my teachers. I could talk with any of them for extra help or any assignment. I was also involved in several extracurricular activities, such as chorus, cheerleading, track, and math team and still was able to keep an A average. To address the parent involvement question, my mother was up to the school so much people thought she worked there. She put forth alot of effort from the beginning. I loved my years at MMMS and I will never forget all the love and support I was given by the entire school.

Mundy Mill Middle School need to improve it's math, and reading scores. This schools academic measurements needs to match Fayette Middle and White Water Middle. We excel in extracurricular activites but our averages are below comparable middle schools in our district. We need to see a reform in quality of education at this school.

This is an overall terrific, clean, and very safe school. My concern is the students aren't really being challenged to being more than the 'average' student, I expect teachers to push the students to being more than average, as I push my children more to excellence.

What a great atmosphere! This student-centered school makes everyone feel welcome and upholds high standards for both behavior and academics.
