McNair Middle School Reviews

this schoool may not be the best but its an okay school. you can not judge a school by parent involvment but you can judge the parent. do not blame the school for the uncaring attitude of the parent.

My child loves this school and says it has helped her socially and educationally.

If you care about your child's education and safety do not send them to this school. I have never seen a school with so many problems. Here are just a few I have been though for the entire year: 1. No return of phone calls made to teachers 2. No Phone Calls placed when issues exist 3. Most of the staff uninformed and uncaring I regret going with the advise to just give the school a chance. I was under the impression that this school was going to turn around from its reputation. I was very unimpressed and unhappy with McNair. I transfered my child this year because once again the testing was so low that they are on the No Child Left Behind list of schools that scores are too low.

McNair MS is a different school this year. The teachers at the school seem very dedicated to the students and the principal is working very hard to change things. There have not been very many other parents at the PTSA meetings or at the conference nights and this concerns me. I don't know about the safety and discipline of the entire school but in the eighth grade they seem to have everything straight. I see a lot of passionate professionals working very hard at this school and I'm proud to be a part of it.

Well I think that Mcnair Middle is good school. I've been a student at mcnair since 2003-2005. So in know that mcnair is a good school. Some people call Mcnair( Mcnaste). Be the ones that are saying that, are the people that never step in the school building. I had some great teacher in that school. One of them was Ms. Parks, a 7th grade language art teacher. Another teacher was Mrs. MacHolmes a 7th grade social studies teacher. She taugh me everthing. She just didn't teach me about social studies, but about the world. She is a great teacher to have. She makes learning very fun. If you are her as your teacher you are very bless.

My school is believed to be a bad school, but that is not true. Most of the people that spread these inaccurate rumors have never in their life set foot in Mcnair Middle School. The teachers at my school are very positive role models and they take time out to help their students if they have any problems. The administrative staff has control over the students and if someone is doing something wrong they will be stopped. The parents get to the school when they are needed and alot of them are involved in thier child's educational life. Everybody at McNair Middle School has respect for each other. Everyday we try our best to be the best and forget what everybody says about our school. I give evertbody that is involved with McNair Middle School a A+ because our school is the best school.

The teachers are not attentive to children inside the classroom, they have no control. The teachers and principals have not talked with the children to understand how they feel and what they would like to see at their school. The administration sit behind their desk afraid to interact and get involved to get to the real source of the problem. The teachers do not have respect for themselves(morales) and therefore the students do not have respect for them. The parent involvment is very low, poor. The activities are not planned and are not what parents are interested in. There is no positive communication established.
