Artist Hafeezah S. Mahdi, born in Brooklyn, NY, was raised in south GA and has lived in the metro
Atlanta
area for 18 years. She is a mother of one daughter, who is the inspiration for creating her beautiful pieces of art.

alumnus, Hafeezah earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in 2000, majoring in Journalism, with a minor in Graphic Design. She is currently enrolled in Keller Graduate School of Business where she is completing her MBA coursework in Entrepreneurial Business.
Self taught, Hafeezah discovered her hidden artistic talents in 2003 while creating oil paintings as a means for relieving stress. After several requests she began to develop a collection of abstract, still life works and murals.
STATEMENT
Her Debut art show, “Painters Poetry – Artistic Expression on Canvas” at Mocha Match Coffee Shop displays a compilation of oil and acrylic works from 2003 to present. She hopes to one day open up her own gallery to display other’s artworks as well as her own. In the meantime she is freelancing in her spare time and working full time in
Norcross, Ga.
