Donna Thomas specializes in equestrian oil portraiture.  Her works are sold by commission to private collections throughout the US and are also sold at B.D. Jeffries, a fine gift shop in the Buckhead area of Atlanta and in the South Park area of Charlotte, NC.  She attended the School of Fine Arts at the University of Georgia and has worked with Atlanta artist, Philip Carpenter, portrait artist, John de la Vega of North Carolina, and palette knife figurative artist, Angela Nesbit of North Carlina.  Donna teaches adult beginner to intermediate oil painting at The Art School in Sandy Springs, www.theartschoolinsandysprings.com, a school she  founded in 2005 after closing her fine art gallery on Bennett Street at TULA in Atlanta, The GASP! Gallery.
