Rising Roll is an Atlanta sandwich shop on Northside Drive preparing exceptional flavor combinations for guests who covet unique and hearty alternatives to the standard fare. Rising Roll began in Atlanta as Uptown Gourmet Sandwich Co. in 1996. We began with 12 menu items and met with quick success. After one year in business, Atlanta Magazine rated us as "the best sandwich shop in Atlanta." In the end, it was the delicious and sophisticated sandwiches like "Killer Bleu Turkey" with crumbled blue cheese, bacon, tomato and 1000 Island dressing and "Spicy Crab," a baked crab cake topped with Chipotle mayonnaise, pepper jack cheese and coleslaw that solidified the Rising Roll difference and fueled the popularity.
