Decatur Wine Festival: Wine, Food and Music

Published: Oct 16, 2009

Taste more than 350 wines from around the world, sample foods from Decatur's finest restaurants and enjoy live music at the eighth annual Decatur Wine Festival.

Metro Atlanta’s largest outdoor wine festival will take place Saturday, November 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. on the Old Courthouse Square in downtown Decatur.

This year’s music line-up features the Heaven Davis Band, Ernie Quarles and Shaun Anderson. All proceeds from the festival benefit the Decatur Arts Alliance, which sponsors the Decatur Arts Festival for free to the community each year.   Your admission buys you a commemorative wine glass and a pleasant fall evening sampling the grape and fine food. This outdoor cocktail party allows patrons to sample a range of wines poured by vintners from around the country and world.   Tickets are $30 and may be purchased in advance only at www.ticketalternative.com or from Decatur Package Store. The Decatur CD store is a ticketalternative.com outlet. Admission is limited to 2,000 people and attendees must be 21 or older. For more information please call 404-371-9583 or visit www.decaturartsalliance.org
