Delta Classic Chastain Park Amphitheater continues to rock the summer nights

A longstanding Atlanta tradition featuring summer evenings spent under the stars enjoying music of all kinds ontinues at the Delta Classic Chastain Park Amphitheater this year.
Since 1944, concertgoers have been treated to some of the biggest and brightest musical talents at one of the most relaxed venues in Atlanta. A long list of national recording artists including The Fray; Tony Bennett; The Backstreet Boys; Journey; Cheap Trick; Willie Nelson; Santana; Sheryl Crow and B.B. King have all performed twilight concerts at this distinct venue.
The Chastain Park Amphitheater layout is truly exceptional. The venue has on old world feel: a stacked stone exterior surrounds the stage and makes a quaint focal point. It’s traditional yet innovative architecture gives the venue a cozy, intimate vibe, despite its overall capacity.
The amphitheater is broken down into sections, which include an areas for tables, regular seating and lawn space. Seating more than 6000, Chastain Park Amphitheater invites patrons to bring in food, drinks and other creature comforts such as blankets; candles (no open flames); folding chairs; and small tables in most cases.
In the rare event that you attend a show where food cannot be brought in, or you forgot to bring your own, the amphitheater has numerous concession stands located conveniently throughout the venue where guests can purchase food and beverages. Beer, wine, mixed and soft drinks are always on hand. On-site caterers are also available to prepare hors d’oeuvres, dinner and dessert for you if you call ahead.
